THE COMPANY

Our client is a well known ASX listed company that develops and commercialises a range of patented products for global markets. Based in Melbourne and close to public transport, they continue to grow and excel in their area of expertise. With very low staff turn-over, this is a rare opening and a wonderful opportunity for a professional and dedicated pharmaceutical Chemist.

 

ROLE

Reporting to the R&D and QC Manager, the successful candidate will support the Company’s R&D and Analytical programs in a timely and effective manner.

In this role, you will be conducting QC testing of raw materials, new and finished products. You will be highly experienced in using HPLC, and proficient at Method Development and Validation. You will also contribule to stability testing of clinical trial samples, prepare reports, train new staff, interpret data and assist with R&D process improvement.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have both a strong R&D background and experience in analytical chemistry.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be successful in your application you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications – Bachelor of Science, Masters or PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or other relevant field
  • A strong QC background as well as a thorough understanding of Pharmaceuticals
  • Excellent written and verbal English as communication is very important to this role
  • Excellent organisational, proven people and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong leadership skills and initiative whilst working autonomously or as part of a team.
