They pride themselves on their ability to produce a large range of reliable products, compete with market innovation, have the best product knowledge and professional marketing support, while also maintaining friendly, efficient, responsive and flexible customer service.

 

ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic person with strong problem solving skills who is keen to join a farm chemical additives manufacturer as the sole QC technician and build on their career.

Reporting to the CEO, your duties will include the batching of raw material, QC testing, some R&D of new products and ensuring that products are compliant with regulatory requirements. You will also be required to maintain laboratory equipment and the day to day safety of the laboratory. Training will be provided.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be considered for this position, you will need to meet to following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science, Chemistry or similar discipline
  • Solid practical Quality Control laboratory skills with a good aptitude for problem solving
  • Experience in a crop protection/agricultural role would be highly regarded
  • Hold a current Forklift licence
  • Ability to perform physical activities within the factory
  • A few years of work experience in a similar setting would be favoured but not necessary
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work autonomously and self-manage your work load
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship development skills as you will be dealing with external customers as well as internal parties
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The desire to join a small company and build a career

Applicants without a Forklift licence will be required to get a forklift licence.
