We have partnered with an innovator in the field of analytical equipment and instrumentation covering environmental, medical, food and beverage and resources. This world leader has a large network of subsidiaries in over 40 countries worldwide and is committed to expanding their Australian operations of 20 years. Due to this growth, they are seeking motivated and professional Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Melbourne.

To ensure they attract the right Sales Professional, the Company is offering a generous package including a base salary of $60-$80K plus Super dependent upon on experience, with quarterly bonuses, company car, motor-pass, mobile phone, laptop, and travel reimbursements when visiting clients. ROLE

This role is an Outside Sales role focusing on existing and new clients across Victoria. Your time will be split 50/50 between developing relationships with Existing Clients and new Business Development.

Your responsibility will include:

  • Liaising with existing and prospective end-users to demonstrate, train and support all products
  • Developing a list of prospective end-users in your territory through market research, business directories, networking and referrals
  • Providing a high level of service and maintaining a customer focused approach
  • Using your knowledge of our Clients product range to provide solutions to customer’s issues

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business or similar
  • At least 2 years experience in Outside Sales or Business Development Management
  • Experience in lead generation and database management
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other computer applications
  • Experiences in CRM systems will be highly regarded
  • Experience creating and maintaining professional customer relations
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and well developed interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, energetic and goal-oriented
  • Self-starter with the ability to collaborate in a team environment
