Our client is a well-known and highly respected Food Manufacturer. They are part of a global, diversified international group employing over 100,000 employees worldwide. With clarity on future direction and clearly defined values, our client is one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest food manufacturers.



As the Technical Sales Manager you will drive the Customer Technical Support program. Working closely with the Commercial Team – Account Managers in the B2B Channel, you will reinforce Customer value proposition. This will be achieved through product knowledge, application to the Customer’s products and their manufacturing line to deliver innovative solutions including new product, process optimisation, quality improvement.

Internally, you will be required to provide product knowledge of applications and ingredients to Technical and Commercial teams.

The successful candidate will work proactively in cross functional teams to deliver growth through developing ingredient, product and applications solutions. In doing so, you will be able to leverage local & global technical support resources.



To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Significant years of experience in the Baking Industry, ideally with a trade qualification in Baking
  • Extra qualifications such as a degree in Food Technology or similar, and/or business studies will be highly regarded
  • Detailed knowledge of food manufacturing processes in commercial baking environment
  • Extensive food ingredient and application knowledge
  • Experience with project management fundamentals
  • Food safety and product quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • The ability to work professionally and build relationships at all levels internally and externally
  • Proven technical capabilities and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong commercial & influencing skills with a track record of driving business growth
