CLIENT

Our client is a well-known,  dynamic, fast growing Australian restaurant food chain. To service growing demand an exciting position for a Technical and Assurance Coordinator has arisen based in the Melbourne Head Office. You will own the technical interface between multiple stakeholders such as Support office, Operations and Suppliers and ensure regulatory and quality system requirements are adhered to. THE ROLE

Based near Melbourne’s CBD in a brand new building with modern offices, the client is offering a professional yet relaxed corporate environment supported by strong values.

Reporting directly to the Technical and Assurance Manager – Supply, you will own the technical interface between multiple stakeholders such as Support office, Operations and Suppliers and ensure regulatory and quality system requirements are adhered to. Providing leadership and expertise in all areas of product development and management to support the restaurants and internal Support office departments

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Product specification process management at all steps of the product life cycle internally and externally
  • Management of Foodworks Database including updating and maintenance
  • Lead the creation, maintenance and verification of nutrition and product claim substantiation
  • Support NPD process with specific regards to product claims and nutritional information
  • Support adherence to product claims by conducting analysis and confirmation by validation and verification activities
  • Be the subject matter expert for food nutrition

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be shortlisted for this wonderful opportunity, you will need to meet the following selection criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Science field, degree as a minimum
  • Several years’ experience working in a technical/quality/regulatory role in the Food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the FSANZ regulatory environment
  • Strong knowledge of Foodworks, Hamilton Grant or similar database
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Managing expectations of multiple stakeholders such as commercial operations with the expectations of the food restaurants and supply chain.
  • Demonstrated attention-to-detail, and time management ability.
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Office applications as well as an understanding of styles and the ability to create templates in addition to computer literacy skills with proficiency in standard business software.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
  • Ability to work across departments.
  • Able to prioritize and accommodate competing demands.
  • Clear thinking and sound judgment.
  • Able to use own initiative and drive projects as required.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
