For more than two decades our clients have developed products holistically across a diverse range of sectors including medical devices, complementary medicines, cosmetics and foods.



Due to our client’s continued growth, a new role has been created in their management team. This is a permanent position and presents the perfect scenario for an experienced manager to apply their broad range of knowledge and expertise across Science & Technology as well as the Supply Chain.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, your role will specifically cover all aspects of product compliance including quality, regulatory, manufacturing and responsibility for supply chain functions. Additionally, you will play a strong hand in Product Development to support the growth agenda for the business.

You will need to able to demonstrate strong leadership skills with a proven history of achieving improvements in output and efficiency by actively engaging in problem solving while using your excellent communication skills to manage external suppliers.

Initially, you will have 2 direct reports across Quality and Operations. Once you are settled in this role, you will be encouraged to build your own Technical and Operations Team to assist you in effectively achieving your tasks.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring product compliance to TGA and other relevant Government regulatory bodies
  • Product manufacturing compliance – reviewing and approving of manufacturing agreements
  • Management of Quality Assurance Systems – creating and reviewing QC and QA procedures and policies
  • Contributing to the new product development processes with a focus on technical and regulatory requirements,
  • Managing stability programs
  • Managing clinical evaluation reports and evidence dossiers
  • Managing of staff across Quality and Operations
  • Managing of internal and external stakeholder relationships across Quality and Operations
  • Overseeing and managing supply chain functions such as stock control, logistics and accurate dispatch of orders
  • Providing advice to the Marketing Department on correct labelling and product advertising (moved these last two down the list as we do have these functions already. The successful candidate would managed this function)



The ideal candidate will have 8 + years’ experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical or related industry.

To be successful in your application, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Qualifications in a relevant Scientific field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in quality and manufacturing in the Life Sciences industry within a GMP facility
  • Proven working experience with regulation and compliance to TGA guidelines
  • Hands on experience in management of Quality Assurance Systems with a focus on QC and manufacturing functions
  • Proven experience with new product development including assessment of international markets
  • Raw material evaluation and product formulation experience
  • Experience with new product trials, stability testing and product ‘scaling up’ to production
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain management
  • A passion for producing high quality products in a dynamic environment
  • A confident and proactive leader who can deliver on business goals
  • Expertise in problem solving and decision-making skills
