THE ROLE

Reporting to and working collaboratively with the relevantBusiness Managers, theTechnical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for delivering Technical Service excellence to customers. Working collaboratively with the ANZ Commercial team, this role will drive the customer satisfaction whilst also increasing the company’s market recognition, presence and share..

You will have a good general knowledge of key industry processes and be considered an expert in the field. As the Technical Account Manager, you will be comfortable in dealing with industry focused Technical subject matter, preparing Technical Proposals, undertaking Trials, creating and presenting Trial Reports whilst working closely and collaboratively to implement the Business strategy.

You will work with key customers on a daily basis and become recognised as an integral part of our customer’s success. As the conduit between the customer and Company, the ability to provide market feedback is critical as is the ability to be action orientated, build partnerships that are mutually beneficial whilst operating autonomously.

This is a newly created role and will initially support a new client with two Northland operations. As Technical Account Manager, you will provide key account management services and an on-site presence for both sites. You will set up the supply and delivery of service solutions to this key client, and you will manage the relationship. As with any new client, initially you will be spending most of your time “on-site”, to ensure they are receiving excellent support.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be successful in your application, you will preferably have a good working knowledge / understanding of the dairy industry or other relevant industry sectors. Understanding of cleaning chemicals and their applications will assist you greatly in this role and would be highly regarded.

To be short-listed for this rare opportunity you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated success in a sales type role
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Knowledge of dairy processes such including membranes, heat transfer and drying would be a plus but not a must
  • Friendly personality and professional presentation
  • A can do attitude with a passion for excellent customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to achieve results
