Our client is one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest FMCG / Manufacturing / Distribution companies. Part of a global Organisation, their product range is diverse and services the Food and Beverage, Hospitality and Institutional Healthcare Industries. Their vision is to grow this business further by introducing innovative products and solutions and the building of a specialised market leading sales and service teams.



Initially a stand alone role, you will be responsible for setting up a brand new Outbound Sales Team to service existing clients and to introduce new accounts to the business. With customer service at the forefront, the aim of this team is to increase sales whilst providing the highest standard of customer service.

Initially you will be responsible for setting up the division, implementing systems, procedures and identifying key performance indicators for the team.

You will be required to identify, employ and retain additional team members building your new team at a rate that reflects your tenacity and success. Key tasks will include;

  • Provide mentoring, coaching and direction to your team to assist them in their development.
  • Implement achievable yet resultant KPI’s
  • Demonstrate the persistence to relentlessly pursue the delivery of sales targets.
  • Monitor sales results v forecast and act on these to maximize team performance.
  • Develop, implement and execute business plans to meet results



To be successful in your application, you will have experience in a similar sales role in hospitality, food and beverage, chemicals or other relevant industry sectors. Selling of products, NOT services is the experience we need.

Previous experience in setting up a telephone based sales team will be highly regarded. Similarly, knowledge of process and procedural implementation, setting and planning goals and KPI management.
