My client is a busy consulting practice with International presence. They are a multi-disciplinary business that offers its services to a variety of clients within the infrastructure services, energy & resources and building industries. They are looking to grow their team in Melbourne due to a number of projects they have secured within building and infrastructure space locally and internationally



In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Steel, concrete design and detailing (e.g. gantries, bridges, footings, beams/slabs, support grillages etc.)
  • Dealing with clients on regular basis and ensuring the project(s) are delivered within the specified timeframes
  • Site visits to ensure the projects are being executed according to designs and specifications



To be successful in securing this position you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Structural Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience working in a consulting environment
  • Must have experience when it comes to design of temporary/ permanent retention systems & other complex structures
  • Good experience when if comes to formwork/backpropping/scaffold design using proprietary systems
  • Ideally you will have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders
