Our client is a well-known and highly respected Food Manufacturer. They are part of a global, diversified international group employing over 100,000 employees worldwide. With clarity on future direction and clearly defined values, our client is one of Australia’s and New Zealand’s largest food manufacturers.



This role is based in Regional Victoria, near Bendigo and reports to the Reliability Manager.  It is an entry level, permanent full-time position and involves the coordination of an Engineering Store within the company’s Maintenance Department.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the Store ensuring it is well organised and stock levels are maintained to provide a smooth and accurate service to the engineering teams.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting regular cycle counts & stocktakes
  • Using the Maintenance Management System to ensure accurate tracking of all parts in and out of the store
  • Monitoring part usage and requirements
  • Ensuring the safe storage and usage of non-store purchases
  • Organisation of delivery dockets & invoices to a high standard
  • Management of personnel working in the store, creating and maintaining a strong customer service culture



To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Exceptional organisational skills to ensure the smooth running of the store
  • Strong attention to detail and strong customer service skills
  • Some knowledge of engineering parts will be well regarded and helpful in this role
  • Ability to supervise and  manage people
  • Ideally you will have stock experience, with a passion for customer service
  • A fitter, turner or electrician qualification would be highly advantageous, but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management skills and a can-do attitude with a good work ethic is mandatory
