Our client is well known, multimillion-dollar pharmaceutical company that produces a range of prescription and OTC Medications for both their own brands and strategic international partners. Based in Melbourne’s South East, they continue to grow by investing in development and commercialising new products. Adding to their range, they assist Medical Practitioners and Pharmaceutical Retailers in generating positive patient outcomes.



Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Stability Analyst – Finished Products to join their Stability Team. This permanent full-time position reports to the Stability Supervisor and its main purpose is to ensure all stability samples are tested according to documented and approved procedures.

As the successful candidate, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Testing of stability samples using documented procedures and to approved specifications
  • Performing instrument calibrations and HPLC troubleshooting
  • Identify and investigate any out-of-specification or out-of-trend results
  • Conduct testing in accordance with the schedule and meet the Stability Team’s KPIs
  • Review laboratory records and documentation to ensure continued compliance with all relevant requirements



A true team player, the ideal candidate will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or an equivalent discipline
  • At least five years’ experience in pharmaceuticals with a minimum of three years’ experience working in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of GMP/GLP is a must
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HPLC with hands-on familiarity with using Waters Empower software
  • Prior experience with photodiode array (PDA) detectors will be valued
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and a superior attention to detail
  • Excellent team working skills, as you will be working in a busy laboratory that requires flexibility to cater for changing business needs and priorities
