Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are paramount for this role as is the ability to work well within a team and autonomously as needed.


Reporting to the Regulatory Affairs Manager, the main responsibilities associated with this role include:

  • Product evidence reviews to support claims and indications
  • Label accuracy and compliance with relevant guidelines
  • Provision of regulatory advice to NPD, Sales and Marketing Departments
  • Handling any complaints that may arise
  • Ensuring product development and formulation compliance with relevant requirements
  • Liaison with manufacturing and the QA Manager on regulatory matters
  • Management of product listings / registrations
  • Management of advertising pre-vetting and approvals
  • Maintenance of records in line with regulatory team standards and assistance in the area of change control



To be successful in your application you will have a ‘can do’ attitude, be collaborative in your approach and have a proven track record and ability to be part of a champion team.

A summary of required criteria include:

  • Relevant qualifications in Science  – Degree as a minimum
  • Two or more years of regulatory experience with complementary medicines
  • Experience in drafting and lodging accurate product listings/registrations
  • Experience in dealing with external bodies such as TGA, Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA) and Australian Self Medication Industry (ASMI) to ensure full compliance in advertising
  • MUST have a good eye for detail, superior written communication skills, be a good team player and a problem solver
  • Ability to identify, analyse and manage risks associated within areas of responsibility and expertise
