My client is an award winning consulting business who specialise in providing technical advisory, cost estimating, quantity surveying and other related services for the building and infrastructure sectors in Australia and across the globe. With over half a century since its inception, they have a great reputation for providing great service to their clients. Due to the ever increasing demand for their services they are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Director with technical advisory experience.



Heading up the Technical Advisory group you will be involved in planning and coordinating the PPP advisory services provided by my client to government authorities, bidding consortia, funders and concession companies. Carrying out due diligence reviews including the assessment of contract agreements and the appropriate management of technical and commercial risks.

Furthermore as a technical subject matter expert you will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary design teams, be involved in resolving any construction issues and interface on behalf of the client, lenders and operating company through all phases of the PPP project(s) to ensure that the design and construction proposals meet the operating companies technical requirements.



To be successful in securing this position you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Civil Engineer who is either or close to becoming a Charted Engineer
  • Must have 5 to 10 years of experience working in a Technical Advisory role and at least 10 to 15+ years working in a consulting type business
  • Have experience in providing providing expert advice, technical inputs, project and design management services on a variety of large infrastructure PPP projects
  • Ideally you will have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders at board room level
