Full-Time Contract Assignment to be Reviewed
Our client has been manufacturing Australia’s favourite baked goods for more than sixty years. Australian-owned and operated, their success is reflective of their dedicated staff, their investment in innovation and the high quality standards applied in all that they do.
Due to continued growth, they are in need of a hands-on Senior R&D Food Technologist who understands BAKED GOODS MANUFACTURE.
Ingredients, formulation and a thorough understanding of industrial conveyor ovens are some of the prerequisites of this role. Initially a contract assignment until Christmas, this role could extend for another twelve months.
To be successful in your application, you must meet the following criteria:
Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or similar
Experience in baking related manufacturing
Experience in a manufacturing facility that operates 24hr shifts will be highly regarded
Knowledge of properties of key ingredients used in Bakery, Cereal or Confectionary applications is essential
Working knowledge of the principals of food preservation and good hygiene practices
Must be able to apply knowledge of key ingredients to resolve formulation issues
Excellent communication, time management and attention to detail are all traits that you need to possess
