Our client is a leading supplier of value added ingredients to Australia and New Zealand’s Food Industries and are firm believers in providing solutions to their customers. Due to the continued growth of the business, they are now seeking an additional person to assist and drive profitable sales through close collaboration within their customer’s technical and commercial teams. As the business is unique in the industry, prior sales experience is not essential and the successful candidate will be trained and supported to develop their sales partnership building skills. A clear career development pathway will occur as the business continues to grow and additional responsibilities will be awarded.
ROLE

This role will provide key account sales across the Australian Food Industry encompassing both new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in Food Manufacturing; have good interpersonal skills to quickly build trust and earn respect; and possess the desire and determination to grow themselves and the business.
This role will also ensure existing accounts are retained, whilst maximising sales and profitability as well as actively prospecting and winning new business.
You will involve technical staff judiciously to aid the growing reputation of the company and participate in proactive campaigns to promote new ideas and product concepts to the Australian food market customer base. You will also be required to liaise with other Account and Product Managers along with Logistics, Customer Service and Quality staff in a supportive team culture and flat management structure – this position reports to the Managing Director.
SELECTION CRITERIA
To be successful in your application, you will have five years experience in product development within a manufacturing environment. You will have a strong commitment to service, by respecting the customer’s needs and determining options to provide solutions.
Please note: This role requires travelling to visit clients so a current drivers licence is a must. Interstate travel will also be required.
