THE COMPANY
Our client is a high profile Australian Company which has been trusted by generations of Australians to provide naturally based pharmaceutical and home care products since the mid 1800’s.
Committed to using only natural ingredients and stringent quality control processes, the Company researches, develops, manufactures and distributes complementary and OTC medicines, medical devices, personal care and household products. With brand new facilities and a dedicated team of staff, the Company supplies product to all major retailers and pharmacies across Australia and overseas.
ROLE
Due to movement within the Company, our client is looking to appoint a Research and Development Chemist to join their R&D Team.
Reporting to the R&D Manager, some of your duties will include: the development of new products to add to the Company’s range of natural OTC pharmaceutical and nutritional product range; the review and improvement of formulae and packaging for existing products to keep in line with recent developments and current trends; and, liaising with universities, technical institutions, suppliers and contract manufacturers as necessary.

THE PERSON
You are a chemist with a few years experience and are excited by the prospect of developing and improving products. You are an exceptional problem solver, an independent thinker, resilient and confident in your abilities.
Well organised and able to multi-task, you will be a finisher and someone who enjoys the challenges and uncertainty associated with the research and development of new products.
You enjoy researching, working autonomously and liaising with other scientists and departments within the business.
