ROLE

ChemSkill’s Consulting Division provides regulatory services to local, national and international clients. Our Consultants deal with TGA, APVMA, NICNAS and FASNZ to ensure our clients’ products meet Australia’s stringent regulations.

Due to a very busy period, we are currently looking for a candidate that has experience authoring Safety Data Sheets. Working under the guidance of our Senior Consultants you will be responsible for co-authoring and/or editing our clients’ SDS’s so that and they meet current legislation. Label Compliance will also be a function in this role. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build on their capabilities and to work in a friendly, supportive environment.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, Occupational Hygiene / Safety or equivalent preferred but not necessary
  • Mandatory knowledge and experience with Australian requirements in regards to Preparation of Safety Data Sheets and Labelling of Hazardous Substances
  • Working knowledge of the Land, Air and Sea Transportation Codes as well as SUSMP is Desirable
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills are essential
  • You must be a friendly individual, a team player who is willing to help and work with others and reliable
  • Professional presentation and ability to liaise with internal staff, clients and various regulatory bodies
  • Computer Literacy is a must
