Our client has been a household name for several decades.  The company continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of a health conscious population in Australia and overseas.

With two manufacturing facilities in Melbourne a growing product range, they now seek an experienced Regulatory Affairs Professional to join their team. 



The role is a 6 month contract with potential for extension. It will support the business by ensuring regulatory compliance of their many therapeutic and non therapeutic products.

Some of the duties associated with this role include:

  • Listing and re-listing products with the TGA and training others on process
  • Working with the team to write and review label text to comply with the TGA
  • Any knowledge of FSANZ for products at the interface would be highly regraded but not necessary
  • Working with team to write and review CHC ads for TGA listed products
  • Assessing food claims to ensure they are not therapeutic
  • Working with the team to review other marketing materials to ensure compliance with the TGA
  • Communicating and working with the local team to collate and send all required documents to China for product registration
  • Product & label accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and codes of practice
  • Provide regulatory advice to NPD, sales & marketing teams



  • Bachelor degree or higher qualifications in Science, Food Science, or Health related discipline is preferred
  • Five+ years of regulatory affairs experience, especially in the preparation and lodging of listings and/or low level registrations with TGA
  • Excellent knowledge of TGA labelling requirements
  • Experience in understanding of clinical literature and interpretation of clinical studies highly regarded but not necessary
  • Experience in navigating the TGA/FSANZ websites to obtain answers
  • Previous experience working for a natural supplement brand would be an asset
  • MUST have a good eye for detail, superior written communication skills, be a good team player and a problem solver
  • Excellent organisational and computer skills
