THE CLIENT
Our client’s testing laboratory is part of a Commonwealth government organisation. The laboratory holds a scope of accreditation with the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) for its activities, which are compliant with ISO/IEC 17025 (2017).
Interpretations of the results arising from these accredited activities underpin a variety of associated research work, which is of vital importance to Australia’s ongoing security.
THE ROLE
Due to the secondment of the incumbent in this full-time role, the management of the facility requires an experienced individual to take the helm of its quality management system (QMS) and, acting on a contract basis, perform the duties of their NATA Quality Assurance Manager.
This is a contract role requiring the successful candidate to work 37.5 hours per week. It is anticipated that it shall commence upon AGSVA granting security clearance and the initial contract is until March 2021.
