Our client is an Australian Government statutory agency within the Department of Health. Their corporate office where the Quality Manager role is based is in a suburb of Melbourne. The premises are modern and well equipped, their scientists are dedicated and highly experienced and the work they do, extremely important.

This exciting and important position reports to the organisation’s corporate governance section. It will commence as a six month contract but it will be reviewed for extension or permanency.

You must demonstrate energy and passion necessary for persuading coworkers of the benefits arising from the overall vision and direction of your quality initiatives.

To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications, minimum Bachelor’s Degree with a science-related major

  • Well established analytical and problem-solving skills, so as to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken in a timely manner
  • Confidence to implement proactive measures to mitigate risk
  • Availability to undertake occasional interstate travel that shall be required and a baseline security clearance are conditions of employment
