Present in more than 100 countries worldwide, our client is a highly respected multinational pharmaceutical company with excellent facilities and a friendly, supportive work environment. Due to a busy work load, they are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Analyst to join their Finished Products team.



This twelve month Fixed Term tenure is a permanent role which may be reviewed for extension. Working directly for the Company, it offers all the benefits of a full-time position such as annual leave, personal leave and paid public holidays.

As the successful candidate, you will be performing physical and chemical testing of finished products under GMP. Utilising your time effectively and reporting to the Finished Products Supervisor, your role will encompass working on R&D projects and quality control testing of finished products (about 50/50% split). You you will be utilising many analytical instruments including HPLC, UPLC, GC, AAS, and FTIR. You will also be conducting dissolution tests to identify and measure the availability of active drug materials in their delivered form.



To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of a BSc in Chemistry or similar
  • Five years’ experience working in a similar role testing Finished Products within a pharmaceutical setting
  • Five years’ experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC or UPLC and Dissolution testing (please indicate the brand and model of instruments you have used as well as the relevant software packages)
  • MUST have a good eye for detail, be a good team player and reliable
  • You must be flexible in your approach and able to cope with changes in priorities.
  • High level of self-motivation and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to exercise individual judgement and initiative in the application of scientific principles, techniques and methods
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and a strong ability to multi-task.
  • Key to this role will be your flexible “can do” attitude, excellent work ethic and initiative whilst working autonomously or as part of a team
