Our client is a well-known and highly respected Food Manufacturer. They are part of a global, diversified international group employing over 100,000 employees worldwide. With clarity on future direction and clearly defined values, our client is one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest food manufacturers.

 

THE ROLE

This position is based in Regional Victoria, less than 100kms from Metropolitan Melbourne. Part of a large National Quality Assurance Team, you will be a generalist Quality Assurance professional able to assist with:

  • Mock recalls / trace packs roll out and completion
  • Identification & implementation of High risk low risk & dress up dress down areas
  • Allergen policy & rollout (Vital

This is a very large, complex and fast-paced operation and requires someone who is passionate about food manufacturing with a big focus on Quality Assurance. You must be decisive and confident, able to work with a variety of people at all levels.

You will have good leadership qualities and will take ownership of the tasks at hand. You will build credibility and trust by fostering open communication, and accountability.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications, minimum Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Food Science, Microbiology or similar
  • You will have several years experience working in a Quality role ideally within a high risk food manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience working with industry standards/requirements and regulatory bodies
  • The ability to work professionally and build relationships at all levels internally and externally
  • Good leadership and influencing skills
  • You will be decisive with a sense of urgency in driving issues to closure
  • Ability to positively support and encourage others through change.
  • Good work ethic, strong presentation skills and a good team player
  • Must be able to start work in the next two to four weeks
