THE COMPANY

Our client is a well-known manufacturer of iconic brands that you will know, as will up to three generations of Australians under various names. They are passionate about their products and hence quality is a key focus for this Australian owned entity.

 

THE ROLE

With a busy schedule coming up the QA team need an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join them on contract until mid December 2014. This nine month contract may be reviewed beyond this time.

This role is very important to the Company and offers great diversity, so you will not get bored. Your role will include assisting with audits, major projects and the maintenance of current systems with the major focus of the on completing the internal audits according to current schedules. You will look at the HACCP Validation protocols, become involved with Corrective Actions, Pest Control as well as Cleaning Verification.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

You will need to be able to ‘hit the ground running’, so you will be experienced and able to work autonomously. This is not a role for someone looking to enter the field.

To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Have a proven track record in Food Industry Internal Auditing.
  • Experienced in Corrective and Preventative Actions including their implementation and the ability to see them through to completion.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to deal with a broad spectrum of people from Production through to Senior Management as required.
  • Be comfortable working autonomously.
  • Ability to write concise yet fluent documentation that other will be able to understand
  • Be meticulous with great attention to detail
  • Be someone who can see things through to completion
  • Possess excellent time management skills that allow you to be organised while being a capable multi-tasker.
