ROLE

We are looking for an efficient Quality Assurance Manager who is energetic and passionate about their work, willing to learn and grow. You will thrive in a busy and supportive environment where people care and help each other to ensure common goals are met.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are paramount for this role as is the ability to work well within a team and autonomously as needed.

This is a 4-month contract role with a view to permanency for the right candidate and it is located in our client’s manufacturing facility in one of Melbourne’s western suburbs.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

The successful candidate will be an experienced Quality Manager of a TGA licensed facility.  You will have leadership qualities, be customer-focused, a confident decision-maker and able to complete tasks and projects on time.

To be successful in your application, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Science degree in chemistry, biology or a related discipline;
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Australian Therapeutic Goods Act (TGA) and its requirements;
  • Experience and knowledge of the Australian cGMP and PIC/S requirements, processes and quality aspects of company operations;
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in QA roles with Pharmaceuticals or Complementary products mainly in the areas of Manufacturing and QC;
  • Experience with product recalls;
  • Proven experience with management of the Internal Audit System and schedule;
  • Solid experience with managing of external suppliers, contract manufacturers and testing laboratories;
  • Proven experience with Release for Supply of manufactured products with a high and consistent standard;
  • Hands-on approach with the management of quality and compliance in the manufacturing facility;
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, time management and organisational skills;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Troubleshooting and investigation skills;
  • Hazard and·risk identification/assessment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Positive and proactive attitude;
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task;
  • Excellent administrative skills; and
  • The ability to nurture relationships internally and externally
