CLIENT

Our client is an independent Australian owned company who are currently undergoing large expansion. They strive to be a world leader in the supply of compounds to be used in drug development with their innovative, efficient extraction and purification manufacturing process. The increase in the size of the business has created room for a Quality Assurance Associate.

 

ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic person with a strong QA background from a pharmaceutical company. Reporting to the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Manager, you will be focussing on maintain and establishing (where necessary) QA and compliance of processes across the board. Among other things, your duties will include the management and execution of internal and external quality audits, maintaining the Quality Management system, issue and review of Production batch documentation, liaising with people in all areas of the company as well as external bodies, writing and implementing quality procedures.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be considered for this position, you will need to meet to following criteria:

  • A relevant degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Science
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar QA role within a pharmaceutical company
  • Working knowledge of GMP & ICH
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident decision maker and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and technical report writing
  • A desire to live in or near Launceston, Tasmania
  • Good work ethic, excellent interpersonal skill and a good team player is a must!
