THE ROLE

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be working with a team of dedicated individuals focussed on producing quality products.

As the Quality Associate, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of product specifications including internal and external specifications from local and international contract manufacturers. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving specification updates as well as liaising with contract manufacturers to support and manage incoming daily requests.

You will be releasing product ensuring it meets all quality attributes and compliance with industry requirements, product specifications and quality agreements. In addition you will be supporting other quality related activities and projects such as supplier qualifications as required.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor of Science in a relevant field
  • Minimum of three years experience in a quality role in Pharmaceuticals, Complementary Medicines or Food ideally in manufacturing
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for therapeutic and non-therapeutic products, including a working knowledge of Quality Systems, Risk Management and Compliance.
  • High level interpersonal, leadership, time management and organisational skills
  • Understanding of GMP requirements, processes and quality aspects of company operations.
  • Troubleshooting and investigation skills
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to keep detailed records
  • A diligent, hardworking individual with a strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to deal with a change in priorities at short notice
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with others in the team
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and a strong ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Positive and proactive attitude & customer and team focused
