Our client is a multinational business that is experiencing both organic growth and growth through acquisitions. They are global leaders in their field and for almost 100 years have been working hard to ensure food safety, the prevention of infections spreading and the protection of vital resources. Hence they are looking for an experienced QMS (Quality Management Systems) Coordinator for a three month contract with the potential to be extended.



The main purpose of this position is to ensure that the quality of the products manufactured are consistent and fit-for-purpose. In order to do this the ideal candidate will be involved in the following:

  • Reviewing and updating existing SOPs and work instructions for the manufacturing plant
  • Identifying missing SOPs/work instructions and implementing them via an internal approval process
  • Develop visual tools for operators to ensure any key elements of production or production changeovers are easily checked

This will need to be done expediently, through a well organised and structured approach, including stakeholder input and buy-in. The successful candidate will have performed this role previously and likely to have come from a quality background with understanding of ISO systems.



We are looking for someone who is a very strong communicator and able to make things simple in a multicultural environment. You will have previous experience in a Chemical Manufacturing/Food/Pharmaceutical business.

Assertive, Proactive and Persistent you will be working with the Subject Matter Experts which will include Production, Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Maintenance and Warehouse personnel to make the SOPs “live” in Blueview. You will need to have a flexible and fast approach to facilitate and moderate the process.

To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science or Engineering or similar with experience in chemical, food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Ideally you will come from a Quality Assurance background with understanding of ISO or similar quality management systems
  • This is a friendly workplace so to be successful you must have a pleasant disposition, be a team player and be willing to help others.
  • Excellent communication skills – you will be liaising with personnel of all levels of the company including Quality Assurance and Operations.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to multi task
