Our client is a well respected Australian owned Chemical Manufacturer who has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years with a brand new laboratory and state of the art equipment.
ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic person with a strong background in QC and Analytical Chemistry with some supervisory skills. You will have approximately two junior chemists reporting directly to you. You will be involved in maintaining the laboratory’s GMP and GLP accreditations as well as training and mentoring other staff.
This is a hands-on role as such you will be involved in the troubleshooting, validation and method development of laboratory instrumentation such as HPLC and GC.
You will be working with the senior management team, liaising with external suppliers and clients, leading projects, and maintaining a strong OH&S culture.
As the QC Manager, you will be responsible for the development of and potential improvements to established processes with the aim of improving efficiency, providing production with timely results, as well as identifying and resolving issues.
This role is very hands on and the suitable candidate will be flexible and willing to work outside of the scope of their role as QC Manager at times.
