Our client is a multinational company that prides itself in the quality of the product they manufacture. Their Quality Control laboratory is NATA registered and committed to providing excellent customer service whilst being recognised for its strong Health, Safety, and Environmental record.

Our client is looking to add two QC Chemists to their team!

The requirements for the role are:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science or similar
  • Few years of experience using GC in an industrial laboratory associated with chemical manufacturing such as oils, greases, lubricants or chemicals, in general, will be well regarded but not necessary
  • Experience in QC testing – with emphasis on testing of physical properties such as viscosity, pH, colour SG and etc
  • Experience HPLC and XRF
  • Sample preparation, manual and automatic titrations
  • An interest in fixing cars or bikes and fuels, in general, will be advantageous
  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Good time management skills, the ability to multi-task and be calm
  • Able to work independently as well as being a good team player
  • Reliable with an excellent work ethic
  • Flexible to meet the requirements of the business
