Our client, a highly respected Chemical Manufacturer, with brand new Laboratories is currently seeking a motivated Quality Control Analyst to join their organisation.



The successful candidate will be keen and enthusiastic and ready to gain experience in a commercial Laboratory.

This role will involve routine running of QC samples using HPLC & GC as well as wet chemistry techniques. You will also be running standard calibrations of instruments. You will assist with the maintenance of the laboratory, create reports, update log books and running sheets. We are particularly interested in candidates who are motivated and wish to prove themselves as capable chemists.

There may be opportunities for career progression in the future for those that show initiative and loyalty. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be a strong team player with a good work ethic.



To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelors Degree in analytical chemistry or a related field (with or without Honours)
  • Must be newly graduated from University
  • A First Aid Qualification would be highly regarded
  • Experience with HPLC, IR & GC Calibrations will be highly regarded
  • Experience using autotitrator, tintometer and particles sizer would be advantageous
  • Must have a great attention to detail and an appreciation for safety in the work place.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good time management skills and the ability to multi task.
  • Confident and able to follow instructions
  • MUST be a good team player and reliable!
