THE CLIENT
Our client is a family owned and run business that has been roasting, flavouring and packing a variety of nuts for both Retail and in Bulk for other food manufacturers for 28 years.
They have modern premises that are maintained in exemplary condition and have a strong commitment to quality standards including SQF, HACCP and WQA. They have various roasting lines, automatic packing lines and distribute from their National Distribution Centre co-located with their Factory. The culture is vibrant and vigorous, and has been growing steadily for nearly three decades.
THE ROLE
This role reports to the General Manager and will be expected to maintain the Quality Management System and be the central point for all technical documentation (which will take up 2-3 days per week). This will include being Audit ready at all times, and following up Corrective Actions to maintain certification. The remainder of the time you will be working closely with the GM assisting with new product development. In doing so, you will be exposed and learn all commercial aspects of the business and NPD. You will gain experience in liaising with clients, suppliers and internal / external stakeholders.

SELECTION CRITERIA
The ideal candidate will be an energetic and disciplined person with a minimum of 5 years experience in a Food QA role. Essential to the role will be demonstrated exposure to Quality Management Systems and a working knowledge of FSANZ including preparation of PIFs and Product Labelling.
