Our client is an independent Australian owned company. With their innovative, efficient extraction and purification manufacturing process, they strive to be a world leader in the supply of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) to be used in drug manufacturing. The Company has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years and is currently in the process of building new facilities meeting the stringent requirements of GMP.



You will be responsible for the day to day running of the engineering department and ensuring that the manufacturing facility, site service and infrastructure are maintained to a sufficient standard in order to deliver production forecasts in line with budget volumes and costs.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the facility is maintained according to cGMP or other quality systems. Furthermore you will be involved in optimizing manufacturing and ancillary equipment by developing effective routine and preventative maintenance programs.



  • Qualified Chemical or Process Engineer with experience working in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in GMP pharmaceutical environment is a must
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior engineering capacity with a proven ability to lead & manage a team
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Must have proven problem solving abilities, with a good work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills
