CLIENT
Our client is an Australian government statutory authority based in Canberra. It applies scientific expertise to evaluate and register all pesticides and veterinary medicines, support Australian agricultural and livestock industries and protect the health and safety of people, animals, the environment and Australia’s overseas trade.
THE ROLE
Our client has undergone an Independent Review and has accepted all recommendations. Work is underway to implement immediate priorities, working towards the future state and improved performance including:
As this presents an extra workload, our client is seeking to employ on contract, one or two Project Managers to assist the Manager with the implementation of this audit.
Working together with subject matter experts and under direction, the successful candidate(s) will be part of the team implementing these recommendations. Ideally they should be finalised by the end of June 2019.
These positions will be at an APS 6 level depending on experience and qualifications and will be based in Canberra.
SELECTION CRITERIA
We are looking for candidates who can manage projects, deal with internal processes and have the ability to understand the role of this regulatory government body.
Knowledge of the science and the regulatory requirements enforced by this agency would be extremely beneficial but not a must.
