ChemSkill is a Scientific and Technical Consultancy with three Divisions that has been servicing national and international clients since 1988. Its three Divisions provide Regulatory Consulting, Technical Training and Recruitment services. Our clients are varied and many have been with us since the Company’s inception. We have built our reputation and success to date on the foundations of strong market knowledge and a genuine understanding of our chosen industries’ requirements.


This is an exciting time for ChemSkill! Over the 26 years in business, the Company has grown and expanded its recruitment services to cover roles outside of the laboratory and chemistry. We are now seeking to further develop our expertise and service offering in current and new markets, through the addition of experienced Consultants with demonstrable track records.

We are therefore looking for a true professional to assist our clients with their manufacturing, logistics and production recruitment needs at a senior level.

Based at our Head Office in Melbourne and reporting to the Managing Director, you will generate and win new business, develop and support existing accounts, develop both candidate and client networks and manage assignments.


We are looking for an Industry expert. Although prior recruitment and marketing experience is not a requirement it will be highly regarded. To be successful in your application, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • An expert in your field, you will have a minimum of 10 years experience and be highly respected by your peers
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships up to board level
  • You will be career focused with ambition to build a team below you
  • You must have excellent networking capabilities and contacts within your Industry
  • As with any senior role, you will be flexible with your time to undertake interstate travel and to work outside office hours to cater for the needs of your clients and candidates
  • A good understanding of the importance of meeting budgets and KPIs, business development and the ability to close sales
  • Other important requirements include:
  • Excellent computer skills and a good working knowledge of social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
  • A tertiary qualification in your area of expertise
  • Additional qualifications in sales, marketing or related field will be highly regarded
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • A full drivers licence


  • A competitive base salary of $110 – 125K negotiable plus super, uncapped bonuses of 40%, iPhone and laptop
