My client is a busy consulting practice with National and International presence. They are a multi-disciplinary business that offers its services to a variety of clients within the infrastructure services, energy & resources and building industries. As they are looking to grow their team, they are currently looking for an experienced Leading/Managing Structural Engineer who has the experience and know-how when it comes to first principle design of complex temporary structures.



In this position you will be responsible for planning, managing and successfully delivering complex engineering projects in Sydney and across Australia. As well as ensuring the projects are on time and budget to ensure that the clients expectations are exceeded on a consistent basis. Furthermore you will be involved in various business development activities and managing a team of engineers and drafters.



To be successful in securing this position you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Structural Engineer with minimum of 10 years of experience working in a consulting environment and hold a CPEng or similar status
  • Must have experience when it comes to design of temporary/ permanent retention systems, formwork/backpropping/scaffold design using proprietary systems
  • Have a track record of in business development as well as managing and motivating a team of engineers/drafters
  • Ideally you will have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders
