Our client is an Australian owned and operated supplier of Complimentary Medicine based in the South Western Suburbs of Sydney. Due to an increase in workload they are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join their friendly, yet professional team, to start work on the 2nd of June.



This is a four week contract for someone with relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or similar laboratory. You should be a team player and ideally have experience using HPLC, UV Spec and IR Spectroscopy.

In this role, your tasks will involve conducting the general testing of products in the laboratory as well as maintaining the laboratory, calibrating basic instruments, keeping records and other routine laboratory duties.

To be eligible for this position you must meet to the following criteria:

  • You MUST be available to start work on the 2nd June 2014. No Exceptions
  • Qualifications in a Science (Chemistry) or Lab Tech Diploma
  • Past experience as a Lab Technician, preferably within the Complimentary Healthcare Industry
  • Have experience working under GLP/GMP
  • Must be reliable, confident and able to follow instructions
  • Experience with HPLC, UV Spec, IR Spectroscopy, Thin Layer Chromatography, Ash & Moisture Analysis would be highly regarded
  • Experience using Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and great attention to detail
  • Competence in the use of computers and MS Office software
