THE CLIENT

Our client, an Australian Owned Company and leading manufacturer of Cosmetic products in Australia is looking for a Senior Quality Control Analyst who is ready to take on a supervisory role.

 

THE ROLE

Reporting to the QA & QC Manager, you will be a strong decision maker, with good leadership qualities and the ability to troubleshoot QC issues. Responsible for the supervision of five laboratory staff and the daily running of the Quality Control Unit you will have proven organisational and time management skills. Your excellent communication and chromatography skills will be essential for your success in this role.

This position is suitable for a current Senior QC Chemist, QC Team Leader or Supervisor from a similar industry, with a minimum of 5-6 years’ experience.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be considered for this opportunity you will meet the following selection Criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-6 years’ experience working in the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics or Food Industries in a QC laboratory.
  • Experience working in a GMP facility will be highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of wet chemistry and analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC and GC, including method development and validation.
  • Have strong organisational, time management and leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Must be quality focus with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
