Laboratory Chemist – Contract Role (The position has been filled)

Our client is well known in the Industry for the excellent quality of their chemical products.  Their laboratories are fitted out with a good range of analytical instrumentation and their premises provide good facilities for all employees.  The work environment is friendly and supportive.



Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed  Chemist to join their team.  Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, main duties will include:

  • Testing of raw materials and finished products
  • The preparation of relevant documentation
  • Following OH&S guidelines
  • Utilising various analytical instruments and wet chemical techniques to test product according to in-house and standard methods.



A true team player, the ideal candidate will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or similar
  • Past experience in quality control testing of products
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • You will possess excellent time management skills, attention to detail and a strong ability to multi-task
  • Key to this role will be your flexible “can do” attitude, excellent work ethic and initiative whilst working autonomously or as part of a team
