Our client is a leading and well known Australian company that has been involved in cutting edge research, development, manufacturing and distribution of high quality skin care, sun care and cosmetic products for decades.  With state of the art facilities and a dedicated senior team, the Company supplies products to all major retailers across Australia.

 

ROLE

Due to an ever increasing demand for their products, our client is seeking to employ a technically qualified individual who is eager to work with an internal sales team managing existing clients. This is an entry level role and presents an excellent opportunity if you are looking for a long term role and to progress your career. Some experience in customer serviceaccount management or sales will be highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills to quickly build trust and earn respect, and possess the desire and determination to grow themselves and the business. A technical background in Personal Care will be highly regarded but not necessary.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, it will be your responsibility to provide your allocated existing clients with excellent customer service and to drive sales growth. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate accurate and timely communication with all key accounts
  • Drive sales growth within existing customer base
  • Provide technical support and assistance to key accounts on regular basis
  • Work alongside other Account Managers and internal customers
  • Receive and process all customer orders
  • Review customer contracts and provide product information to customers
  • Inform all customers on order specific lead times and delivery times
  • Coordinate freight requirements
  • Maintain purchase orders and forecasts
  • Coordinate deletion of finished goods, packaging and exclusive raw materials to minimise redundant stock

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be successful in your application, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • A degree or Diploma in a science related field
  • Ideally a few years’ experience in a similar role where you service existing clients/accounts, preferably in the Personal Care industry
  • Ability to maintain and develop strong working relationships with existing accounts
  • Experience in coordination of product orders and deliveries making sure according to your clients’ contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a proven ability to meet goals, targets and deadlines
  • A good work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player is a must!
