With its state-of-the-art facilities, including R&D and QC laboratories overseen by a dedicated senior team, the company supplies products to major retailers within Australia and also more widely throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Our client is looking to appoint a Junior Chemist within their R&D Team. You will be a degree-qualified chemist and preferably have a good understanding of emulsions—ideally within the context of the personal care industry. The position will also require you to develop a knowledge of formulation chemistry to include surfactants, rheology modifiers, and additives.
In addition to performing industry-specific testing at the bench, you will gain proficiency in researching new technologies that facilitate the development of innovative products for clients, become able to identify new product opportunities and play a role in identifying process improvements and/or assist with cost reduction.
