Our client is an innovative consulting laboratory that looks outside the square and is interested in pursuing investigative and forensic assignments, as well as routine analyses. Due to recent expansion they require the services of an experienced ICP/MS Specialist to join their Laboratory. This is a newly created position and offers an opportunity for someone to be involved in the commissioning and development of a new analytical section.



To be considered for the position you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Have as a minimum a Bachelor of Science degree with a Chemistry major or similar.
  • Experienced in trace metals analysis using ICP/MS in biological samples.
  • As an experienced ICPMS Analyst, you must have experience in method development, validation and instrument troubleshooting.
  • Be acknowledged as someone with a detailed knowledge of sample digestion techniques.
  • Experience in a commercial environment, preferably a NATA accredited laboratory would be well regarded.
  • Ability to meet commercial deadlines as dictated by your clients.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills are a necessity.
  • Must have the ability to work and communicate in a multi-disciplinary team environment on a variety of projects.
  • Excellent eye for detail and a good work ethic.
