Our Client has been a trusted partner in product development and contract manufacturing to the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, Food, and Personal Care Industries. Setting the standard in reliability, quality and service, our Client supports their customers with state of the art manufacturing, cutting edge product development and world leading quality systems.

Our client specialises in the contract manufacture of Therapeutics (Prescription, OTC, & Complementary medicines), Medical Devices, and Personal Care products.



This permanent full-time position is available due to a long tenured incumbent wishing to retire. The ideal candidate will be a Senior Human Resource professional with a background in Industrial Relations, EBAs and ideally, OH&S. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing and enhancing the human resources functions. You will be working closely with all people within the company from technicians through to senior executives.

Our client has been operating for more than sixty five years and as such, all processes and policies are in place. Staff turnover is low and morale high. The new HR Manager will ensure the company continues to support employee relations, compliance with all necessary legislations including IR and OH&S requirements.

Reporting to the Managing Director, your duties will include management of the following:

  • IR matters, awards and conditions of employees and trade union negotiations
  • Upkeep of Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Acts, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards
  • Management of staff training and recruitment
  • Employee relations
  • Workcover and payroll compliance
  • Regular updates to the MD on all relevant matters
  • Supervision and support of direct reports



We are looking for a dedicated Senior HR professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a caring, intuitive approach.

To be successful in your application you must meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Many years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of Industrial Relations and Employment Law and management of EBAs
  • You will be a good listener with highly developed interpersonal skills, including exceptional verbal and written communication in English
  • Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, able to identify practical solutions
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
