ROLE
This permanent full-time position is ideal for a human resource professional with a generalist background. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing and enhancing the human resources function through the implementation and evaluation of the company’s strategic HR plans. You will be working closely with all people within the company from technicians through to senior executives.
Some of the duties associated with this role include:
Developing, revising, and recommending best practice HR policies and procedures
Reviewing relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreement to ensure legal compliance
Implementing and revising the company’s WHS program to ensure legal compliance
Overseeing & processing of end to end recruitment and employee life cycles
Creating and revising job descriptions
Researching, analysing, developing and updating the company’s salary budget and evaluation programs
Managing the delivery of effective payroll operations (including Superannuation, Tax, Work Cover)
Maintaining company directory and other organisational charts
SELECTION CRITERIA
We are looking for a dedicated bilingual (Korean and English), HR/Administration Manager with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
To be successful in your application you must meet the following criteria:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline will be highly regarded
Previous experience in an HR / Administration role
Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and comfortable communicating with staff at all levels in such a way that is understood by everyone within the organisation
Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated leadership skills
Well organised, managing time proactively and able to communicate progress promptly and effectively
As a Human Resources Generalist, you must be able to analyse and present information
Ability to build effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to identify practical solutions
Commercial acumen, combined with an understanding of business law in relation to HR and employment rights, and demonstrated application into an organisational context
Working knowledge of best practice workplace relations policy, related documentation and staff welfare
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
