Our client is a Global Player that does not want to think they are the best. They want to create a Formulation Development Centre of Excellence that will be the envy of others. To achieve this, the newly created role will take responsibility for the leadership and management of the Company’s Global Formulation Development activity. This is to ensure the Company remains at the forefront in delivering world quality formulations to an ever increasing technology focused and driven Agricultural Industry.
We want someone that is capable of “Thinking Big”. This is a creative role, not just from the technical aspects, but also from a cultural perspective. You will establish a system that will optimise resources and establish team based best practices with the aim of delivering world quality formulations.
You will currently be in a Senior Formulation Development role having management responsibility for a number of facilities, preferably in a global environment. You will need to have strong technical skills, however you will need to be an excellent manager that can “create” the vision.
You will design the structure that will deliver the Company’s world class formulations following an agreed list of priorities. Our client wants you to capitalise on “spring boarding” provisions, be an excellent project manager, but also be an innovator that can think outside of the square and engage in “Blue Sky” activity. This is such a great role where there is going to be a lot of autonomy and responsibility attributed to a role like this, yet you need to be a leader as well as a manager. You will create a culture where global goals are understood and worked towards in a focused approach. This will be a global team.
