This exciting permanent full-time position is based in Regional Victoria, near Bendigo. Ideally, we are looking for a Graduate, or someone who is currently studying towards, an Environmental, Science and/or HSE qualifications. If you have one or two years of relevant work experience this will be advantageous. The role is located at a piggeries finishing site. The company is offering an excellent career progression plan for the right person.

Our clients’ number one priority is safety. The HSE Team is responsible for supporting the business HSE Strategy through achieving the standards required and implementing initiatives to drive best practice risk management.

Reporting to the Senior HSE Business Partner, the HSE Administrator will add valued administration and coordination support to the HSE Team. As such, being instrumental in the HSE Team delivering of best practice risk management reduction programs to continually minimise workplace injury and illness.

As this is an entry level role, the successful candidate will be responsible in assisting to facilitate the creation of an environment where by all employees are leaders in safety.

Some of the tasks associated with this role include assisting in and/or performing:

  • Preparation of materials & assisting with regular HSE site auditing and inspections
  • Data capture, entry and producing of HSE reports
  • Scheduling of site training sessions
  • Site HSE inductions
  • Supporting HSE Business Partners and Managers with the administration of various related tasks
  • Other duties as necessary



To be successful in your application you must meet the following criteria:

  • Formal or working towards Environmental, Science and/or HSE qualifications are desirable
  • One or two years of experience working within a HSE department/group is an advantage
  • Knowledge & understanding of HSE issues, systems, policies & procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in teams and independently
  • High attention to detail and observation ability
  • Efficient time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Strong learning agility of technology platforms & systems
  • Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Good work ethic and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels
