THE ROLE

This exciting permanent full-time position is based in Regional Victoria, less than 100kms from Metropolitan Melbourne. It is ideal for a Graduate with Environmental, Science and/or HSE qualifications and one or two years of work experience. The company is offering an excellent career progression plan for the right person.

As this is an entry level role, the successful candidate will be responsible in assisting to facilitate the creation of an environment where by all employees are leaders in safety.

Some of the tasks associated with this role include assisting in and/or performing:

  • Assisting with regular HS&E site auditing and inspections
  • Data entry and producing of HSE reports
  • Supporting HSE Business Partners and Managers with the administration of various related tasks
  • Other duties as necessary

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be successful in your application you must meet the following criteria:

  • Formal Environmental, Science and/or HS&E qualifications are desirable
  • One or two years of experience working within a HSE department/group
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in teams and independently
  • High attention to detail and observation ability
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Good work ethic and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels
