Our client is a multinational company that prides itself in the quality of the product they manufacture. Their Quality Control laboratory is NATA registered and committed to providing excellent customer service whilst being recognised for its strong Health, Safety and Environmental record.
POSITION
This position is an ongoing, full-time contract and presents a great opportunity for graduate chemists to work in a dynamic, professional work environment.
Initially, the successful candidate will work normal hours, Monday to Friday, testing transportation fuels using Gas Chromatography. Further down the track, depending on the needs of the laboratory, you may be trained to test fuels using a variety of other methods, including automated and manual instruments such as Octane Engines, XRF, HPLC and Distillation units as well as various wet chemical techniques.
As the laboratory operates seven days a week, we need you to be flexible because this role may require you to work rotating shift (working 3 days on followed by 3 days off). The shifts are 10 hours each and can start as early as 7:00 am and finish as late as 8pm.
