ROLE
Due to the ever increasing demand for their products, our client is seeking to employ a Global Quality Assurance Manager. This senior position will play an integral part in the company’s Quality Assurance Program, implementing global standards whilst meeting all legal, business and regulatory requirements.
Ideally, the role will be based at the Company’s Head Office in Melbourne, Australia, however, there is some flexibility for the right person to be based in the United States.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership qualities, be customer focused, a decision maker and able to complete tasks and projects on time. To be short-listed, you will have worked in similar roles for a number of years and will have an excellent understanding of the agricultural seeds business together with a strong commercial awareness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging position, you will be involved in heading up the process of reviewing, developing and implementing the Global Quality Assurance program across the entire business. You will also implement best practice quality training programs for internal and external stakeholders and work at a local and global level to lead the entire QA process. In doing so, you will be influential in ensuring buy-in from all the program partners.
This role is also responsible for the development of quality control reports, the creation of statistical process control metrics, non-conformity measures and recommendations for continuous improvement activities.
Other duties include the communication and sharing of the company’s quality philosophy to ensure the companies QA program complies with all legal and regulatory requirements as directed by company’s legal personnel.
