Our client, a Division of the Department of Defence, a well known government agency, is based in Scottsdale, in beautiful Tasmania. They provide Defence with Science and Technology (S&T) advice in support of Defence fresh and combat ration feeding systems, and manufactures a range of specialised foods for use in combat ration packs. With state of the art facilities, they house scientific and technical staff to assist with every step of the process – from research to manufacturing.
Our client is seeking a Food Evaluation Assistant in support of work conducted by the Food and Nutrition Science and Technology Capability (FNSTC) as part of a long-term contract. This contract position will commence in early July 2016 and due to complete June 2019 with an option for a renewal for another 2 years. Based in Scottsdale, Tasmania, you will be working within a friendly and caring group.
The successful candidate will be undertaking the following duties:
Initially, the average number of hours worked are expected to be around 52.5 per fortnight. These hours can fluctuate to meet the needs of the business.
