My client is a busy design and construct company that has been operating in Australia for over 60 years. They have office locations across Australia, New Zealand and international offices across Europe and Asia . They are a specialist business that offers a variety of civil, structural and remedial solutions to their clients. Due to the demand for their services they are seeking an experienced/Contract Manager with a background in civil/geotechnical engineering.



In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Control all Commercial, cost control and cash flow activities for a variety of infrastructure projects
  • Control subcontract and supplier procurement administration including overseeing subcontract agreements
  • Prepare regular commercial and performance reports directly to the Managing Director and other key stakeholders



To be successful in securing this position you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with good knowledge of piling systems
  • Contracts management in the infrastructure or related industries preferably with rail/infrastructure/mining experience;
  • Good stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, and experience in resolving complex project and commercial disputes.
    Refined interpersonal skills to ensure communication and collaboration with stakeholders are maintained so that specific deliverables can be achieved
  • To be considered you will need to hold a relevant working visa or have permanent working rights in Australia
